February already! Dates for your diary- Race Night- Friday 12th March. Lots of noisy fun for all the family. Billy Anderson Concert- Wednesday 24th March. Billy and friends. Billy is multi-talented, sings, plays the box and makes you laugh. The Games!!!- Games year again. Will everything come together on the day again? Provisional date Saturday 21st August. All hands on deck. Date confirmed at the next committee meeting History Group- Wednesday 24th April. We've called this 'Relics of Rait'.There are lots of historic bits and pieces around apart from the Church. A lot of them are up on the hills so we may have an explore in the summer. Also, the idea of an oral history recording is being taken forward. The village has a recording studio in situ so arrangements are being made to get together the elders and former elders of the village to have an informal chat about the 'old days' |
